After many years as an educator and attorney, I have chosen to become an educational advocate.  I have a great passion for helping students and parents to establish the best learning environment possible in the school setting.  I pledge that I will work hard to get to know your child as an individual, and to research the most effective learning tools and strategies for that child.  I will work hard to make sure your child is treated with dignity and respect, and that legal guidelines for helping children are followed.  I am also committed to teaching and encouraging parents, and helping them to become the best advocates they can be for their children.

I have attended specialized training in educational advocacy, and am a member of the Western Pennsylvania Coalition of Educational Advocates, as well as the national group Coalition of Professional Attorneys and Advocates.  I am committed to staying up to date on current developments in advocacy.
